Research conducted by Dr. Jernigan at the Hansa Center for Optimum Health, finds that low-body temperature is a common thread in patients with a fibromyalgia diagnosis.

In the latest issue of Fibromyalgia Solutions, Dr. Jernigan’s article “Fibromyalgia and Low Body Temperature discusses the impact that core body temperature has on health.

Dr. Jernigan believes that until the causes of the lowered temperature are addressed and corrected, the best that can be hoped for is only temporary or mild improvement of symptoms and a gradual but steady overall decline in health.

YogaSoul Center in Eagan is offering new summer classes and other promotions as students and wellness enthusiasts enter the season.

The studio is offering a new Pilates Barre class at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, and at 6:30 a.m. on Saturdays. The YogaAbs class will now be offered at the new time of 8:30 a.m. on Mondays and Fridays.

Yoga and Pilates clients can also take advantage of YogaSoul’s summer class promotions. For 90 days, anyone can get $ 350 worth of unlimited classes for $ 300 — a savings of $ 50. Students can take advantage of the same deal, but for $ 250 instead — a $ 100 savings.

“You get as much yoga, Pilates, tai chi and zumba as you can handle,” said Nicole Nardone, yoga instructor and healer at YogaSoul. “It’s a really good deal.”
